Our Terroir vintages: The most beautiful appellations of Languedoc-Roussillon

The Terroir Range from Aubert & Mathieu is a real stroll through the heart of the most beautiful appellations of Languedoc Roussillon. It brings together five vintages full of character and representative of their appellations with the signature of Aubert & Mathieu: a fresh and gourmet style. We thus find: two Corbières red wines (one softer and the other more structured), a Minervois la Livinière red wine, a Terrasses du Larzac red wine and a Côtes du Roussillon Villages Caramany red wine.

A tribute to the wines of Languedoc Roussillon

This range Terroir is above all an ode to the beauty and the most beautiful appellations of Languedoc Roussillon. Indeed, thanks to our labels we have honored the work of one of the precursors of the impressionist movement. Unfortunately, this 19th century painter from Montpellier died in the prime of life at the age of 28 during the Franco-Prussian conflict.

Singularity as a key word

These vintages are unique because they are very original. In addition, we wanted each one to express the true nature of the wine found in the bottle.

We therefore chose a dominant color for each vintage:

The red wine of Corbières Marie Antoinette

Mint green for Marie Antoinette red wine: this is a red wine that looks like velvet. It has a very soft side, it glides on the palate without sticking to it and it has a small minty final note that is quite fresh and very pleasant.

Côtes du Roussillon Villages Caramany red wine

Poppy red for Côtes du Roussillon Villages Caramany red wine. This red wine is a real fruit bomb with cherry, cinnamon and a cranberry finish. We wanted an explosive color to show all its taste potential.

The red wine of Corbières Pablo Maria

Plum to symbolize the power of Corbières red wine which takes us into a deep aromatic round with jammy fruits, tapenade, spices and even garrigue.

Minervois la Livinière red wine

Blue is a soft and intense color which clearly shows that our Minervois la Livinière red wine is a red wine with character. It is a deep and evolving red wine with flavors of chocolate, red fruits and violet.

Terraces du Larzac red wine

The very natural bright green of our Terrasses du Larzac red wine expresses its very fresh side with flavors of eucalyptus which are counterbalanced with the power of licorice and forest fruits such as blackberry.
