In January 2024, we obtained B Corp certification. Not for the logo. Not for the likes, but because we believe we can make wine differently, more responsibly, more humanely, more aligned with who we truly are.
B.Corp certification is awarded to companies that meet high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability. In other words, these companies are committed to having a positive impact on society and the planet, while being transparent and responsible in their practices.
At Aubert & Mathieu, we are delighted to have obtained this certification. It means that our efforts to produce quality wines in an ethical and sustainable way have been recognised. We use recycled materials for our bottles, sustainable corks and eco-friendly packaging. We are also working to reduce our carbon footprint and protect local biodiversity. This certification shows that we are determined to consume responsibly and contribute to a more authentic and sustainable world.
Making wine is not just a matter of taste. It is also a matter of choice.
We prioritize short supply chains, we measure our carbon footprint, we redesign our packaging to be cleaner and lighter. And above all, we move forward, one step at a time.
Responsible winemaking isn't a trend. It's our way of doing things, today and for tomorrow. We don't claim to be perfect, but we take action. Vintage after vintage, step by step.
Because we believe that every detail counts, that every improvement makes a difference. And that the future of wine deserves our full commitment.

We've taken an important decision for the environment: we're stopping the use of overcaps on our wine bottles!
Why this decision?
Environmental impact: overcaps are often made of plastic and aluminium, which makes them difficult to recycle. By stopping their use, we're reducing our carbon footprint and helping to preserve the planet. By stopping their use, we are reducing our carbon footprint and helping to preserve the planet.
Regulatory compliance: we are anticipating future environmental regulations, particularly those of the European Union, by taking proactive steps to eliminate capsules from our production processes.
Commitment to sustainability: we are committed to adopting sustainable practices throughout our supply chain. This includes finding solutions to ensure the quality of our products without compromising the environment.
