We want to contribute to planetary carbon neutrality. It also starts by decarbonizing our actions.
We have joined ECOLOGI an American association whose ambition is to reduce global carbon production to avoid the harmful effects of GHGs. To achieve this, the company is carrying out three major actions:
1. REFORESTATION
ECOLOGI is starting reforestation actions in different countries around the world such as Mozambique, Madagascar, or Indonesia.
Each year we contribute to these large-scale reforestation projects. To give an idea every day we plant a tree.
2. CONDUCT OF “POSTIVE CLIMATE” PROJECTS
ECOLOGI goes further and offers projects that allow so-called “green” energy conversion.
For example, the association is leading a project to build wind farms in India to help develop green energy for local populations. By joining ECOLOGI we support this kind of projects that allow the energy independence of different countries.
3. PREVENTION: INVITE TO ADOPT GOOD MEASURES
ECOLOGI also encourages everyday gestures and offers various challenges to be completed in due time such as: walking to work or using public transport, eating seasonal fruits and vegetables or even not buying any more fast fashion. The association explains that every little daily gesture counts. We can thus meet challenges that involve every act of daily life.
The ECOLOGI association also makes it possible to measure the impact of its membership through a tree, carbon reduction and climate involvement counter. Also, it offers eloquent metaphors that explain what our action for the climate by its side is equivalent to. In addition, the profiles are accessible online, which allows you to act in complete transparency!
